One can be brilliant in music but he might not be able to write a single page article on other subject. Darwin is called genius but even he regretted not trying to understand mathematics much.
In chess, logic and creativity rules. Playing within the rules and achieving what you want is most important. How to do it is purely left to the player.
So Brilliant in chess just means that he plays chess very well. Brilliant in other fields might work for learning chess quickly but it is no guarantee that they excel in chess automatically.

We are both good at it but I don't play often any more though it was encouraged by the school chess club when I was a child. I would consider us both very intelligent people but I don't think you need to be brillian to play. I now see my son enjoying a game of chess with friends of his own age which I think is brilliant as they are all obsessed by their electronic games more than anything else. Certainly the people here are brought up on backgammon as the game of choice and I know very few adults who play chess and dismiss the idea as being too hard.

Absolutely you are right, When I was a holiday trips at Middle East
one of my friends learned me to play chess, and also I am more talented
on this games. Sometimes I used to play with my office staff
and have lost my game to opponent so many times, so this games
really needs the creativity and logic to win. Basically CHESS is
one of my favorite because it needs to think well before to move
a coins to right place at right times.

With that said, You don't have to be intelligent to play chess,however patient and determined is what you must be. Chess is considered a sport and i can debate on that! | 6. divkris (786) | 6 months ago |  Chess is basically a mind game - something like sudoko where you have to be mentally alert. When you play a game you wish to be the winner, isn't it? So when a person plays chess his/her intensions are to outwit their opponent. This means that the person should be pretty strong in the game (mental calculations rather).
So i do think that chess is a game played by people who are shrewd. Though i don't believe that chess is "only" for "brilliants"!

Absolutely you are right, the chess games is also need mental calculations in order to win the game against opposite player, otherwise it is too difficult to win that game. We must know the movements of the coins and also must know the direction, about the short and long move and also we should use our mental thinking power
in order to move the coins in right direction at right place. So some what we need to calculate the coins movements in this chess games. Many games are also available

concentration as well as some mental calculation to move the coins in the right place
in the right times. Most of the players are winning this games because of this good mental calculation along with exact movements of the coins. So the concentration is very important during this games in order to win against opposite player. Better to
play the chess games with more concentration.

YES You are right, recently I have been noticed
that the chess has been played by all types of
peoples mostly by the teenagers, with fun and entertainments, so I don't
think that really need of the Intelligent power, but when you compare
this games with most senior peoples like world titles then of course
we have to check the brilliant movements in the right times and right
direction. So it will really needs the logic power and simple mathamatics
both will help us to win the game from this chess. When you starts to move
your coins in the line forward or backward just you have to think the
movements to beat the opponents and then moved properly, if you have done
that, then you will really giving the big challenge to the opposite player
in order to win this game.
