Do you print photos at home or at the store?

Lots of the people have their own photo printer at home now these days so they can print out pictures easy. I have got one recently and just printed couple nice pictures after we took at the pond. It is very convenient. I usd to just bring the memory card to the store and print... hmmm Actually I wonder which costs us more? Having the own printer, buy paper and ink ourselves or having somebody print for us cheaper?? Anybody has thought about it before?

Hello mermaidivy, I have my own photo printer and used to print all the photos at home. But the last time I checked, it is a bit costly with the glossy paper and ink and everything compare when you just send to the photo shop to print.

I print my photos at home. My camera came with a free printer, so I might as well get some use out of it! As for what is cheaper, it depends on the amount of printing you do. If you don't do a lot, it's more cost effective to pay someone else to get it done. But if you do a lot of printing, it is cheaper to do it yourself!

I have a printer/copier and I can print my pictures here at home...I dont think that alot of them turn out well, since our old printer did better pictures but it broke on us, and we got a new one with some new paper and the paper is not that great of quality....so I really need to get more paper soon. I have never done my pictures off my digital camera at a store, I have said that I was going to and I really want to but I have never had the time to put in to go to the store and just get them printed. I think I am better off spending an hour at home with some better quality paper and this way I can get more things done that way...LOL happy mylotting.
