source of news updates...

i do get local news from local t.v stations in the morining and buy a paper later on for indept and future reference then mainly i do watch cnn and al-jazeera for international news like now im watching the supreme leader speak of iran live..

I used to not pay attention until later in the day.

Then one day I woke up on September 11, 2001. I had a dentist appointment to have my teeth cleaned that day. And so I just showered and dressed and headed for the dentist office, walking for 30 minutes for my 9 AM appointment. By the time I arrived the North Tower would have collapsed an hour or so before (I'm on the west coast).

The people in the office were talking about some horrific event, and I could only think of the several people who were killed the previous weekend, ending with the gunman's death at the major intersection there, Zifendel Drive and Folsom Boulevard in Rancho Cordova. It wasn't until later I learned the details at my employment the details as to what happened in New York and Washington DC.

Ever since I always scanned the internet when I woke up to see if any major incidents happened. My yahoo email account has five top stories, but I also look at Google's news page, since I included news about Rancho Cordova (my residence) as well.
