Virginia Scrapbooking Weekend Retreats

When I first started scrapbooking perhaps it goes back 13 yrs ago. My daughter was then only 5 and was given a scrapbook kit for Christmas. Being from Virginia, Scrapbooking was just taking off. We are near Virginia Beach VA and have lots of memories to scrapbook.
That was the beginning of a fun thing for the two of us..we got so much joy preserving our memories and working together.
We then got invited to our first crop..My daughter and I went to our first crop together with Creative Memories Consultant in Tidewater Virginia. Soon we were invited to a Weekend Scrapbook Retreat where we not just stayed for 8 hrs it was a 3 day event and you got to stay up til midnight to work on your albums.
Since my first scrapbook retreat we started traveling as a scrapbook store vendor for several retreat companies in the Virginia area and traveled as far as New Jersey. We had so much fun and met so many wonderful ladies.
I had decided to quit my job and I had then met some friends on a scrapbook yahoo group and was offered a Scrapbook Sales Rep position. Oh, you have no idea how awesome that was..All I ever wanted to do was be someone who could represent some company and show them all the new things..I would have never in my life dreamed I would be a Scrapbook Sales Rep..From this I was able to get all the samples of each company and play with the products and show to all the scrapbook stores..FUN!I have since become my own scrapbook retreat organizer in Virginia where we offer scrapbook retreats for 3 days and 2 nights at very reasonable rates. We have so much fun and some of the best places. We have Virginia Beach, VA, Outer Banks NC, Williamsburg VA and Fredericksburg VA..
These retreats are so much fun and the beauty of it is you meet some wonderful ladies all with the same interest. You also can learn so many new things in Scrapbooking.
