Also, people with blood conditions cannot take aspirin because it thins the blood. I have always used Tylenol and have found it effective, therefore have no reason to start taking aspirin.

Thanks for your comments.
Absolutely you are right, the aspirin is contains Acetyl salicylic acid which are also having the properties of thinner of the blood, that is the reasons most of the times the medical professional would not advise this Aspirin to the children under 12 years old, as per the Tylenol which is one of the best medicines and contains Acetaminophen and used to treat mild fever, mild headache, mild joint pains, mild shoulder pains etc., So better to use the Tylenol all the times instead of Aspirin due to the side effects.
Have a great day.
Best of luck.

It is a pretty good pain reliever but think about the side effects. Liver is an importnat organ in out body and acetaminophen hurts it really bad. Aspirin has been around longer and it is actually good for your heart (I believe). That's why many doctors suggests their old patients who have heart problems or maybe strokes, to take a low dose aspirin (81). Anyway, I'm not a medical specialist (but as a student in mdeical field), I believe that aspirin is much better where it helps relieve inflamantory pain and actually safer for your body. Although it may have side effects as well maybe, just like any drug; but as long as you eat before you take it it should be safe.

Binthu (3308) | 5 months ago | Hi Simple the best,
Welcomes to the great site of myLot.com
Generally the Tylenol the contains Acetaminophen which will be act as a pain killers and also can be used to treat many dis order like headache, joint pain, shoulder pain, teeth pain, mild fever, etc., But be remember that when you are going to use in daily or for long time then only you have the chance to get the side effects of Liver damage, that is the reasons most of the professional Pharmacist would advise the patients not to take any high doses than recommended doses of any medicines because of the side effects. With regards to Aspirin it also contains Acetyl Salicylic acid, which will be used for many purpose and also having the properties of blood thinning effects, that is the reasons most of the medical professional would not advise the Aspirin to the children below the 12 years old and can recommend to the heart patients because of the viscosity of the blood will be less so the chance to get the heart related problems also too less. As you have informed me that you are in a medical field, can you just tell me what your studying now?
Have a great day.
Best of luck.
