Life Without Air Conditioning?

Well, I must be out of my mind then, because we ARE living without it. Air conditioning costs too much and we just can't afford it right now, so we live off of opening the windows if it's a little cool and running a couple fans once in a while to get air circulating. Not everyone is lucky enough to have air conditioning, so appreciate the fact that you've got it!

Right now I am in a house that does not have air conditioning and we are on the third floor which is the hottest part of the house. The fan only blows hot air. It does feel very miserable but I try not to focus on it and I try to stay out of the room as much as possible. It sure helps to keep a lot of cold water and ice on hand. The one thing I notice is when I do get in a place that is air conditioned, I appreciate it so much....it feels soooooo good! The other day I wanted to just ride the bus all around town just to enjoy the air.

Well this last few years, it has really become very hot. There used to be a time that I can sleep well even without electric fan and airconditioner. But not, there are nights that I really have to turn on the airconditioner considering that I feel that it's really hot already. I really have difficulty sleeping. So there is really no choice, I have to use the airconditioner. Of course, it is really nice to sleep when its cold. So life without airconditioning would most likely be uncomfortable.

I could not imagine myself sitting in a hot house while working or just sitting around here either. I cannot sleep when it is hot and I sweat like crazy as it is anyway. I am very thankful for my air conditioning also.
