What do you know about Salvation?

I believe what the bible says about saving. By confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour this is how one is saved. By your faith, the bible says that we cannot go through with Jesus Christ. No religion can help anyone neither can good works help you also. Believe, faith and then works these three works hand in hand.

The only way to be saved is by confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believing in your heart that he was raised from the dead and that he died for you.. No amount of works can save you.. no amount of faith can save you.. you can have faith but if don't believe in Jesus then you are not saved

I find this a nice question.. Anyways, I do believe on what the Bible says. I am a Catholic and have studied at a Catholic school so I guess I have been practicing what I have learned at school.

I also believe that to Christ is through Mama Mary. We have to pray hard to Mama Mary so our prayers can reach her Son, Jesus Christ. But to me prayers is not the only way to be saved but through repentance.

We have to do good and imitate the ways of Christ. It's what God wants of us, to be like him. And to believe in Him that everything will be fine.

I am not a christian, but I understand the concept of salvation in the Christianity. It requires that we have to confess all our sins to the savior Jesus and get saved from damnation.

But about the question believe it or not. I say partially yes, but not complete. I agree that confessing the guilt or sins to the supreme power can take us the greater point of satisfaction. That brings the good feeling that we have been saved. But again my opinion is that it is not complete yet.

I look more in terms of enlightenment. I don't believe that submitting ourselves to the god is the ultimate path of salvation. To reach the salvation we need to remove all our egos or desires which includes even the desire of enlightenment at the certain point.

But I don't think the religions see the salvation in the way I described. The Bible can be totally against what I said or I am against the bible. The bible says that even thought the enlightenment is reached, the one can still go to hell. This statement in fact is ridiculous. This is the proof that the Bible is written by someone who don't have the real knowledge of the term enlightenment and claims whatever he writes are the words of God. Now to believe in this thing I say it is the extreme foolishness. By this I don't mean that bible is totally rubbish. There are many facts to be learned. But I see bible as the combination of the facts and fictions. But it seems that people started believing on more fictional writings than the facts.
