** What Can I BUY for $10?**

We are paying about $1.20 a litre for GAS (Petrol)

I think that works at about 3.7 litre to the US Gallon (about $4.88 US gallon)
and 4 litres to the English Gallon.($5.28 English Gallon.)

gas tank... that would be a good idea.. but better would be buy $10 of gas... then sell it 50 years later:)


the price is going up so .. buying gas at this point would be a very good investment:) eheh better than stocks;)

small bags of candy can cost me $2 only. You can by 7 bottles of two-litters soda here if you have $10. Im in the PHILIPPINES.

We have #2 bags of candy but the Brand name ones you will pay near $4 a bag.

COLA 1.25 bottle at $1.50.
Box of 24 cans (Cola) $15.

Your prices are very close to what we are paying here.

apart from the pork ours is at about $5 Kilo.
Good beef steak will cost $17/24 a kilo.

A rice cooker for $10! I must say that that would be quite cheap. Is that a proper rice cooker though that has a power chord and everything?

We can buy Rice cookers here in Australia for about that $10, Electric, Bri O made in China, Take 5 cups of rice, works good.two heats hi/lo.

I agree to hiccup/... We can buy rice cooker here worth $10. It is a 1.2 litter rice cooker and can cook up to 6 cups... Its good though and fast! I'm happy that I bought a cheap but good rice cooker...

You will find the Pound is about $2.40 to the $1 us.

I know LAMB meat is very high in price there (England).

We are paying $2.50 for a small Cheese burger at Mc Chuckeys.

I went to a store that is a regional dairy store with fresh produce. I got a gallon of milk, five pounds of bananas, and two single dip premium ice cream cones. I got change back from my ten. I spent $8.90 including taxes on those things.

That was good buying well for us it is.

So far, I really don't know whether I can buy something besides some snacks for $10.

It makes a difference what store I buy at. Our area has two main stores and one has so much better prices than the other.
When I read about how much people pay for groceries in other parts of this country or in other countries, I am glad I live here.

We have had the ALDI store (foods) German group.
Just come into Australia, the other two main grocery store chains have 80% of the food market so any competition is good.

And near 80% plus of the food at ALDI'S is Australia, so that's good all the way round, We are seeing some German stuff but that's good as we have not had that before, I like the cakes and chocolate from Germany and they sell they at a fair price.

Most here do near the same thing, when talking about $10 to spend its on FOOD.

I like that, but then again FRIENDS are thinking people, we don't have to many who are short of brain power.

Those seem to come and go fast, the thinkers stay for the long haul.

And thats good.

The bread at Subway I can smell a mile away and know its Subway.

And I like Subway food, I don't get to eat it often, but I do like it.

I welcome your comment and it allows me to understand many people from many Countries just how far their money will go today.

Most are finding it hard to cope, but we are all just getting there it seems.
