 I followed the whole saga of Harry Potter books are great and I say that, but I was a little disappointed with the end of harry potter and deathly hollow. I found the final a bit meaningless and without much emotion. Agree with me?

| 2. megha_gupta (81) | 7 months ago |  Ofcourse it would have been great if we had more books in the harry potter series. I just can't get enough of that book. But saying that it was not upto the mark is wrong. Well personaly i found it really entertaining. The past about Harry's parents, the affection Snape had towards Lily its all great. As far as Voldemort is concerned he was not that powerful as he was supposed to be, but think about it Harry was marked to his equal (that's what the prophecy says) and so Harry and Voldemorts duel couldn't be more entertaining then what is was in he book.
J.K Rowling has said in her interviews that she had grown very tierd of Harry Potter but ofcourse she didn't mean it in a negative sense, she just meant that now she wants to write something more different. So i guess whatever ending she gave to the Harry Potter series was amazing. I personaly think there's no better fantasy story about magic than Harry Potter.

4.  anne25penn (864) | 7 months ago |  I guess the writer was pressured to put too much info on the last book, knowing that it was the last book. I did enjoy reading it, but again, another book would have been better. I also found the death of Hedwig, whom he was one of his very first companions and seemed to be there always meaningless. I guess killing Hedwig meant that she had no more roles to play within the book. But I truly enjoyed all of the books even if some have been a disappointment.

Of course there are things that I wish did not happen (ex. what happened to Dumbledore in the previous book, what happened to Fred during the escape from Harry's house, Dobby and even Hedwig) but I thought the very end was done quite well.
I'm happy about Ron and Hermione, and Harry and Ginny, but I do wish that we found out who Draco Malfoy ended up marrying, don't you?
