Raw Carrot Juice

A friend gave me a book about raw carrot juice and it's ability to fight cancer. Since my mother has liver cancer, I started her on this regimen. Her father had prostrate cancer and they gave him raw carrot juice and he has been in remission since. Now I am not a doctor or a herbalist. But with the amount that we will need to spend on chemotherapy and my mother is in her advance stage in cancer, i can definitely try anything. I just wonder if anyone here has also heard of this, or is this just one of those fad diets?

It is great and tomatoes are also great for people who want to battle cancer, I will suggest tho that going to the Dr and finding any organization that will help your mom can be a good idea. Good luck,

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, her doctor has not endorsed us to any organization that can help us financially with her treatments. The sad fact of living in the Philippines is that when you have relatives working overseas, they think that you are rolling around in money. LOL. The only organization that was able to help us was PCSO, but trying to get an endorsement will take a month per chemotherapy session. Anyways, thank you again for your response.

Thank you for your comment. I don't get it why people here think that if you are from abroad, you are rolling around money. LOL. I just want to give an update or feedback from the raw carrot juice she is taking. She is by the way, 68 years old. Yesterday, grinning mischievously she asked to check out her hair. And I could not believe that the hairs that are growing on her head is black! She has been allergic to most hair dye preparations so most of her hair is gray or white. But now, the ones that are growing are black. I don't want to be overly confident, but if this works, shame on the doctors and those who propose that chemotherapy is the only solution for cancer.

I believe that while a month is a lot to wait for medical treatment, it is an option, and try to look for the red cross, I also feel that anytime you have family members in other countries, they think people who live in the USA have lots of money at any given moment. It is a fact. Or worse, if you are born like me in the USA they think I should have even more money, because I am a citizen, lol. I feel very bad for your situation, I will say go to your bookstore and look for book that have food that can heal Susanah Summers has one, or two on the matter, I believe she heal herself of cancer, but right now I am still sleepy and can't remember well. Carrots do contain healthy vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants that help to prevent cancer. As to whether they will fight cancer once you already have it, I have serious doubts. Still, it can't hurt for your mother to consume a healthy diet. Just don't try to use it as a replacement for the chemo.
