"Rich man's war, poor man's blood." What is your take on this? | | I was reading an article online when came across this old saying...
"Rich man's war, poor man's blood."
I think this is a very deep proverbial saying. There are so many instances where this came to life in our world, in our time and in the past. The poor are always made to bear the hardships which come with ensuring that the rich continue to live in comfort.
It is not the rich who often fight the wars but its is they who collect and share the riches, therefore increasing their wealth.
Does this saying have any impact on you?
Does it mean anyting to you at all?
I can think of a few occurences both locally and internationally where this saying would taking on the reality of its message.
Maybe one or two such instances come to your mind as well.
I would like to hear your view on what this saying means to you.
