First Date Movies  | |  What movie did you see on your first date with your spouse? My husband of 20 years and I went to see a movie as one of our first dates. It was the comedy Back to the Future in 1985 starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. We really enjoyed it and now our four children have all watched it on DVD.
My mom told me that she and my dad went to see the musical Singing in the Rain starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds in 1952.
