is 'like' same with 'love'

like means you are fond of somebody and you dont need anything much than that..thats like! whereas..love is when you fond of somebody and you want much more than just that like getting intimate and so forth..now you get it?

I do not consider like to be the same as love in the English translation. You can like something and not love it so therefore like is not the same as love. Some may disagree though.

like is somewhat the first stage of love. liking starts when you start admiring someone. In some cases both are used in same meaning. But like can be for a friend also.Love is started with liking.

There are so many different ways we like and even more different ways that we love!
I think liking is a combination of admiring and having an affinity for someone or something. Love, on the other hand, rings in enormous emotions. Colloquially, we say we love, for example, chocolate, but that has nothing to do with the love we have for our significant others, our children or our cherished friends. English simply doesn't have enough different words to express those emotions.
