Absolutely you may right, the antibiotics means against some action to living
organism, Biotics- living organism, Anti- against . Chemical substance can be
used to kill or prevent the micro organism is called antibiotics. We are using many types of antibiotics like Broad spectrum and Non broad spectrum, most of the broad
spectrum antibiotics has the capability to kill all types of bacteria like gram positive and gram negative types of Bactria, in order to control the Infections.
Most of the Bactria has the resistance to the antibiotics, so we have to find out
the right antibiotics for right infections.

Yes, finding the right antibiotic usually involves culturing and placing disks of antibiotic in the culture. Whichever antibiotic disk has no bacterial growth around it is the antibiotic that will work against this bacterium.

We got to do that experiment quite a few times back when I took microbiology. That was a really cool class. If you ever get the opportunity to take it, I highly recommend it.
