Do you still post letters? email this discussion to a friend?

Today communication methods are becoming more diverse as technology advances. Everybody has a telephone at home plus a mobile phone, and many people with some knowledge of computers can communicate with each other around the clock? on global networks. These communication skills are becoming a part of our life.
However, the traditional forms of communication are still hard to replace and may even be gaining influence over people’s minds. For example, a letter makes people more pleased than just a phone call, even if there is no difference in the message. The more technology develops the ore people seem to miss the personal touch.
Phones have become ubiquitous? around the world. Nearly everyone uses them at least once every day to conduct business or just to chat. Even proposing? over the phone does not sound ridiculous anymore. Nevertheless, letters have not lost their power to move people. Mail still makes us seem special or important. So, if you really want to communicate some special feeling, or celebrate some special occasion, you may want to express yourself on paper if you really want your message to be remembered.
I know there are many merits in having a mobile phone, and there are many inconveniences I have to suffer by not carrying it, but I still resist wearing one. I would feel like I was wearing a dog collar if I had a mobile phone, and that someone was always watching me. I want to feel free whenever I am, and it is my own choice to contact someone or to be contacted. I know time is running against me,? and I will have to carry a mobile phone sooner or later. But I do not want to be reduced to being a line in a switchboard.

Good question! Now with the technology edge, even we cut down on posting greeting cards as well nowadays. It's all in the electronics world today. I haven't been posting physical letters for quite a while already maybe more than 6 - 7 years already. The only time I post letters is when I need to write to my sponsor child in Thailand where he has no computers in where he lives.
But, I still think that it would be more sincere to post letters than to email. It's my personal opinion.

Hi,

Yes i still do post letters from now & then cause i have a friend from abroad and we have to stay in contact by letters cause he doesn't have internet connections anymore and as you know international calls are not that cheap and can be done once a month and in the moment of the call not all things can be talked about so the letter writting does help.
