When I was at the meeting, my friends are told me that simple carbon has the properties to cure or purifies the water. I am not sure about this, do you have any idea Is it true??? Carbons can purify the water?????

From my own experience yes this is true. I had a pitcher that had a filter I used for water, the middle was a carbon base filter. Also they use carbon filters for fish tanks so I would say yes this is true. Better filters use more than just carbon though.
