My mother in law cats`name is......  |

 Herr Sheby Boeckel. It means he is a Mister. At first I cannot believe that a cat can have a very long name and almost like a name of a person. Everytime my mother in law sees a cat, she always mention Herr Sheby. Herr Sheby died few years ago and she really want to have new Herr Sheby. In her house, she have stuffed toys Herr Shebby and some marbles with cat image. Since I cannot buy her a new live Herr Sheby Boeckel, I just gave her some Hello Kitty stuff such us wallet, bag, handy cover and more. I will be getting her a Herr Sheby Handy from Japan and the order will come soon

1.  ElicBxn (15227) | 6 months ago |  I never really understood naming a cat the same name as a previous cat. For some reason, it just doesn't work for me.
Now, I knew a lady who only got either orange males and named them Tigre or calicos and named them Patches. She also thought she was very clever for naming them those names. She was also certifiably insane, but that's another story.
Now we have named one of the feral kittens, Scoot, because that's what s/he does when s/he sees us. Our friend "J" came over and tried to correct us that it was actually "Scooter" and I told him, we already had one of those, and we don't reuse names.
Mind you, I'm now pushing over 70 cats thru my hands since I reached adulthood, and most of those I had a hand in naming them, so no repeats is pretty good.

Well, I think the reason why she wanted to make it the same name as before because there are memorable things that she shared with her previous cat. Also, that is the best way she can turn back the time where she wants to give more attention to the new cat. But of course, it will be more interesting if she will have a new cat with a new name. It would really be nice if she can get a new kitty to replace her old one. I wonder what she will name her new kitty. I wonder if it will have as interesting name as the last one. And she is looking for a house with terrace or balcony where she can let the cat to play there. Hmm, yeah I think she will have another interesting name for the cat. I am just thinking if I will be getting a male or a female kitty. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate very much.
