Do you feel safer staying at home?

Death and risk is a part of life and i think we should accept it. I do feel safe at home and i think everybody feels secured in the four wall of their house - but life can't just go on that way. We'll have to go out to buy provisions and take care of our basic needs.

Accidents happen everywhere, why a fan under which you are sitting may also fall and can be a cause of death - so there is risk of life everywhere and we should take it on the stride:)

Yes I really do feel safer at home! We live in the country and I just feel a whole lot safer out here than living in the city. I hate traveling even in a car so staying at home is for me!!

you are mistaken, there is no safe place in the world, if death is compulsury, any body cannot hide from death, where ever you are death will find out and kill, so do not fear, leave it to god and go ahead

Nope, if I want to travel I travel. If a flight gets turbulent, I worry, but it doesn't stop me from traveling at all. At home I could fall down the stairs and crack my head open. In fact, that's much more likely to happen than a train or plane crash!

I do not fear traveling. We can do nothing to make ourselves completely safe. We can and should take precautions in travel and in our daily lives. But ultimately, our life is in the hands of God. I've heard reports of planes crashing into a person's home, so you're not safe there either. I just enjoy life and don't worry about what "could" happen.

hi, i fear for almost everything. so if something happens outside,, i would freak out. Although i know that Death is something we cant avoid when it comes our way. i will definitely freak out.. i m scared of disasters, accidents etc.. i cant see anyone suffering!

Hi mysdianait~As you say, it pretty much isn't safe anywhere
these days! You just never know what is going to happen and
where! Which point makes my fear of flying seem rather silly
I guess! I have been putting off taking a trip to Florida
to see my Mom. It is a short flight, about 3 hours, but I
am deathly afraid of flying! And with all the latest plane
disasters this isn't helping making me feel more secure!
But, then people keep telling me about all the car accidents
and comparing the stats and all that stuff to try to make
me "feel better"! So, actually I am not sure anymore if I
do feel safer staying at home! But, I still think that I do!

If I have to travel, I am not afraid of any accident. Of course I don't want to be in an accident but if God allows, there is nothing I can do. I think that the safest place is to be in God's travelling path. Even at home, there are accidents and death may happen anytime. I heard about accidents on a plane crash; accidents on the bus and on the sea..

I live in the United States, and in the US it is so rare to find safe places. I feel about as safe as the next person where I live, meaning we know that the police patrol our city and our area and that we can contact them anytime. That is about as safe as it can be for the area that I live in. Honestly, people are never really safe anywhere, even when you think that you are safe, you may not be.
