A heart attack can occur at amy time in your life. If you're too heavy or have high blood pressure, it can increase your chances of having one. Try to lose weight and eat foods low in salt and cholesterol. Avoid greasy, fatty foods. An excess of sugar can also put weight on, and raise your blood glucose levels. Besides changing your diet, try exercising three times a week for twenty mintutes a day. Walking, swimming, jogging, or playing sports are excellent ways of strengthening the heart muscle. If you live in a hot climate, do the exercise late in the day or early in the morning when the sun is not at its peak index. Remember when exercising, to drink plenty of water to awoid dehydration. It's never too late to take care of yourself...You and your heart deserve that!
