Anyone work at home as a Medical Transcriptionist.

I am contemplating a career change, and I was thinking since there are companies that employ workers at home Medical Transcription might be a good choice. I have looked at several schools, and I have some questions. Is this a demand area? If you are working as a Medical Transcriptionist, what school did you attend? How long was the program? Do you work at home? Are you certified?

I am currently attending Kaplan University which is a fully accredited online college. I am studying Medical Transcription. I will be earning my Associate of Applied Science degree. I checked out 168 schools before choosing Kaplan.

I did not check with Kaplan. I was thinking of going with Career Step. I am thinking a certificate program is better for me. I already have a BA just want a short program.
