US Constitution  | |  How many people have read the US Constitution and did you learn about it in School?
Should it be required in all public schools? Why or Why not?

We had to pass the Missouri Constitution test before we could go to High School.
I think it should be required that everyone be taught the Constitution before graduation.

 bobmnu (2605) | 5 months ago | I could not agree more. My nephew had to write a paper on one of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights. My brother suggested that he do it on the 10th Amendment. When he went to the Library and asked the research Librarian to get him some information she was surprised that that was in the Constitution. This is how little people learn about their own country. | |

Without this knowledge we stand the chance of loosing what we have. Our Founding Fathers worked hard to establish a working document that offered freedoms to everyone. Many have fought and lost their lives defending those very freedoms.

| | 3.  anniepa (9079) | 5 months ago |  I read it and learned about it in school many years ago and I absolutely think it should be required to be taught in public schools. I think students should have "mock" Supreme Court sessions and argue hypothetical cases in class.
