gave dad tests and he got most of them wrong, his memory is very poor  | |  i gave my dad simple tests and he got most of the questions wrong, we think he has dementia. he is very forgetful, he is 80 years old, i put up posts before about it. the questions i asked him was. when his wife died and where she was buried, his age, the year it is now and season and what month was it. what was his daughter birthday, years of birth, what year did he move to house. he got them all wrong. he did the clock test and left out the 1pm.

FFFrocks (196) | 5 months ago |  my grandma is in the same position. she forgets things too, she's 87. she had 14 kids but if you ask her now how many children she has she can't remember, she just says lots. she also has trouble remembering them when she sees them. it takes her a bit to put a name to the face and whatnot. but, she is happy. the only time she gets stressed is when people try to press her into remembering, then she panics. as long as your dad is happy count your blessing honey. my thoughts are with you!
