We could be earning more somewhere else!

You should use many different websites that all pay to gain alot of money.

i kinda doubt you can make enough money online to live on unless you start your own scam. hhhmmmm, maybe i need to think about that now.
i started out here jsut kinda trying to fill up my free time so i wasn't always totally bored out of my mind. i started meeting people, making some real good friends, hijacking discussions with thezone and then i met darkjedi. and, well, all of our friends know how that's going. i'm going to TN in august to visit him.

Actually we could but not at the cheezy PTC sites and crap sites that are usually spammed at us.
You could make more here on myLot even if you work hard enough at it. People are always looking in the wrong direction toward making easy money quick.
myLot is just mostly fun making friends and watching the constant drama.

I have to agree- you could be making more money somewhere else. HOWEVER it's not going to be as much fun as being on mylot. Even though we don't make a lot here, nothing can replace good information from other mylotters. That in itself is a reward. I rarely sign up to these "other ways" since I know it will probably take a LONG time make some kind of cash. Plus, they're mind-numbing. Here on mylot, you get stimulation AND cash. CHA CHING!

i joined mylot because i was sure that this is a social site that makes my time easy.,im not after making money& i wasnt after a paying social site..its just miraculous that i landed here from google! and i have nothing to loose& im thankful that im here..

Money has never been the motivation for me joining mylot. If you see at my participation, it would be quite low, considering i've been here for about six months now and made payout only once. I like to read people's different views and then add to them if possible.

I agree that there might be more money somewhere else but I am not too much into it.

i love the idea of earning more money and all that, but what i love about this site is the fact that you can learn a whole heap of new stuff and discuss many many topics, interesting ones at that, i am known not to be a people person, so this allows me to hone my people skills. this will be great for when i meet real life people. ha ha ha. i am rather tired though of people befriending me just so that i can be their referral and for no other reason than that, it annoys me a lot.

Of course we could probably earn more elsewhere - as you say, we're told often enough. But would we get the emotional enrichment we receive from our genuine Mylot friends? I don't think so. The only thing wrong with Mylot is that the friends feature is open to such abuse by the scammers and spammers. I'm sure admin could sort it if they put their minds to it. Strongheart, you rock! I love the way you're dealing with this discussion.

I prefer this paid to post websites rather than clicking your mouse with those advertisements which i am not interested with. We all know that it will increase your earnings online and these sites offer a lot of opportunities from up. I agree with Maria Esperanza that mylot is somehow offering symbiotic relationship with its websites since we share a lot of ideas from different part of the globe and moreover earn more friends than money that we aim for.

I am definitely not here for the money! Even when people earn it, they don't get paid half the time.

It's more a socializing, speak my mind and share info site for me.
