Create a watermak in Word using a Clip Art gallery image

You can create any watermark in Word from any kind of graphic object such as SmartArt, shapes, clipart etc by copying the object to the Header area.

This is the full procedure in making a watermark from a Clip Art gallery image:
1. Navigate to the Insert tab.
2. Click Clip Art located in the Illustrations group.
3. On the Clip Art task pane, find your desired image.
4. Double-click the top of the page to show the Header area.
5. Click inside the Header window.
6. In the Clip Art task pane, double-click your desire image.
7. Right click on the picture and select the Text Wrapping option.
8. Choose the Behind Text option.
9. Right click on the picture and select the Send to Back option.
10. Extend the picture on the middle of the document by changing its size and dragging it.

We will also put some transparency on the image with these steps:
1. Display the Header area by double-clicking on the top of the page.
2. Right click the image and select the Format Picture option.
3. Click the arrow on the Recolor button and on the drop down list that appears, select the 1st option under Light Variations.
4. Click Close.
