Working on the Fourth of July  |

|  I'm working pretty much a full day today.
Covering a parade at 10 AM.
A barbecue and bluegrass concert at 2 PM
And then fireworks tonight.
This will help make the rest of the weekend hopefully pass quickly.
Yesterday was friggin awful. It seemed like the day would never end, regardless what I did.
I usually hold holiday weekends in disdain. Everyone returns to their families and I'm let out here in left field holding the bag.

| |  Same old stuff around here. A little computer time followed by passion (arguing with the step-daughter), extreme excercise (watching the races), gluttenous dining (ordering pizza), and a decadent dessert (my leftover birthday cake). When that gets to be a bit much, it's off to the bedroom for a little hard core (taking a nap).

| |  I've been busy so far this weekend, getting things done online and writing, putting off cleaning house though. Haven't heard from family so guess they all have other plans (that don't include me) thats ok though I don't feel like going any place. May treat myself out to breakfast tomorrow morn but not sure on that yet.

| |  We did not do much for the holiday. I painted inside of the house and my husband ran some errands for us. We put some hamburgers on the grill, ate, watched some tv and went to bed after working all night.

| | I wrote you this big long thing about how busy my fourth was...It didn't take for some reason and to be honets after yesterday I am too busy to rewrite it again...lol..I didn't get home yesterday until 2 in the morning...I was around about a million screaming giggling pull on your legs while your trying to eat kids...lol...So I want it just to be me for a day or so...I am way over the whole big family thing for a while...I had more then my share yesterday... | | | | | | |

| |  Because of computer problems , I wasn't online.It was weird. I went out on Friday in the day to shop.The 4th.I got up early and saw a great series on The History Channel called The Revolution.I saw a little of the fireworks on t.v.and then a movie.Sunday , I saw some great Agatha Christie shows and some movies.It was a throwback weekend. I did everything I used to do when I wasn't using a computer. The downside? I didn't get to connect with my friends here. I really missed that.
