Gov Palin Attorney Comes Out With Boxing Gloves On |
| |
| Left wing liberal news media is about to get dam well deserved bloody noses if they mess again with the barracuda Sarah Palin. Gov Palin has freed herself of chains the left wing media the mouth pieces for Barack Obama and their mean spirited blogger's have beat her with for almost one year, this is going to be really lot's of fun, read on. (Sarah Palin's Attorney puts Huffington Post to MSNBC on notice) Ratcheting up her offensive against the news media, Gov. Sarah Palin’s attorney threatened Saturday to sue mainstream news organizations if they publish “defamatory” stories relating to whether Palin is under federal investigation. In an extraordinary four-page letter, Alaska-based attorney Thomas Van Flein warns of severe consequences should speculation that until now has largely been confined to blogs about whether Palin embezzled funds in the construction of a Wasilla, Alaska, sports arena find its way into print. “This is to provide notice to Ms. Moore, and those who re-publish the defamation, such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, the New York Times and The Washington Post, that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law,” Van Flein warned, citing Alaska liberal blogger Shannyn Moore. Much like Palin did in her Facebook statement Saturday, Van Flein savages the news media in his letter. “Just as power abhors a vacuum, modern journalism apparently abhors any type of due diligence and fact checking before scurrilous allegations are repeated as fact,” the Anchorage attorney wrote. Neither the Times or the Post made any mention of the embezzlement rumors in their Saturday editions, but sources close to Palin consider the letter a warning shot to stay away from the topic. In the letter, Van Flein writes: “‘The Alaska Constitution protects the right of free speech, while simultaneously holding those “responsible for the abuse of that right.’… These falsehoods abuse the right to free speech; continuing to publish these falsehoods of criminal activity is reckless, done without any regard for the truth, and is actionable.” www.logisticsmonster.com | | | | | |

| | This will be interesting to watch. If Gov. Palin is under investigation, (even I had heard about it), then merely reporting that, if it is true, is not defamatory. So, if these stories stop, it looks like she is not under investigation. I truely do hope Gov. Palin plans to leave office because she is running for President and not leaving office because of scandal. Gov. Palin not only represents HOPE and CHANGE, but HOPE AND CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. | | | | | | |

| | redyellowblackdog My take on this is if Gov Palin was under investigation for any illegal activity her attorney would had not warned the Huffington post,MSNBC,Washington post and so forth if they smear the gov with lies expect a law suit on their hands. I don't expect Gov Palin to run for any office in 2012 I think she is gearing up to kick some liberty dirty dogs nasty butts. I listen to her replacement Sean Parnell he backs Gov Palin 150%,he backed up what Gov Palin said most of her time and the time of her staff has been taken up in bogus lawsuits after the other prevent her from doing her job as the governor of Alasak. He also backed up Gov Palin saying on July 3 it has cost the tax payers of Alaska more then two million dollars researching and fighting these bogus lawsuits, so far in less then 12 months there has been 18 filed bogus cases and the Gov has been found not guilty in 15 lawsuits. Sean Parnell said due to these bogus lawsuits it has put the Palin's in debt half a million dollars. The American people that are against the United States becoming a communist country run under a democrat dictatorship all should get behind Gov Sarah Palin and the true freedom fighters or shut their mouths and suck up the Obamanation corruption taking place right before our eyes. | | | |

| | LOL. The people you mentioned said "there are rumors". . .just like you continually say there are rumors about the President. None of it is libel. If it's posted it as fact, now that's libel. Speculation is not. | | | | | | |

| | This is why legitimate news media need to fact check their stories several times. Reporting on rumors and innuendo is dangerous. I just wish her and her attorney were as worried about defamation and rumor reports on sites like WND as well! I suspect this is a preemptive strike so she has time to get her story straight about allegations that are soon to break. Until actual charges are filed, however, I agree that we don't all need to hear about it. | | | | | | |

| | heathcliff, I find world net daily actaully correctly reports on around the world events and our countries events political and private even before Fox news reports, WND has good connections in places like Israel and so forth they trust WND to report the truth of what is happening in their county as well WND backs up their reporting with links to interviews and other news sources even with pictures of the event they are reporting on and so forth. I trust if WND had one blemish Barack Obama and his corrupted democrat activists dirty dogs would be on it. Until I see proof of world net daily being found gulity of wrong doing and there is no such charges pending against WND I will have to take your accusation as unfounded and slanderous in nature. | | | |

| | I sincerely hope that she will run for president because I agree that fiscally the Obama administration has been irresponsible! He just keep spending more and more money. It almost seems to me he has the same idea my grandmother had before she died. Its not my money and what are the gonna do dig me up when I am gone and make me pay it back? Only change it to What are they gonna do bring me up on charges when my presidency ends and make me pay it back? He has not had enough time in office to make these major financial decisions and what he is doing by spending the money might be a short term fix (if it works which so far it hasn't) but what are the long term effects gonna be? I think Palin was held back way to much by McCain's people. I think she is the exact kind of hard hitting, no BS, person America needs!\ Even better my dream election would be between Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton! There is a hurdle we have yet to overcome, electing a woman in to the highest office in our country! | | | | | | |

| | Oh that would be my dream campaign too! I have no respect for Hilary's politics...but I did admire her for her strength when Bill was getting serviced in the Oval Office...she publically showed great restraint. No these two strong willed women debating on the issues...that would be a hoot! But on second thought...the media would only be concerned with their apparel. | | | |
