As the King of Pop it has something to do that Michael Jackson can be imitated but not duplicated, because his songs were all original, he is genius enough to invent the dance moves that is why many celebrities and singers around the world are getting ideas from MJ, we know that he is a legend and icon in music. Aside from that his creativity of his songs has something to do with the lives of other people, events of the world, helping or contributing something for the less fortunate people just like "We are the World and Heal the World". His songs are not old school. He created the song according to the generation that all ages can appreciate. Have you noticed that all of his songs of the year were different when he was a kid? His songs recently were really different and no wonder that kids can also understand and appreciate it. The genre of his songs are really versatile and that is the important thing in the industry to maintain the appreciation of the music lovers. MJ involved himself to the charity and that is one of the biggest factors that you can say that he touches many people lives. The level of his media mileage were same as Princess Diana and Pope John Paul II that people followed their news about his death. I also think that there is something to do in technology today because I think if Elvis Presley is alive then he died this year it will be the same thing as MJ right now even to John Lennon that the internet was not yet very popular. At least MJ reached everything from generation to generation that is why all people of the ages can really relate into him.
