Death by chocolate!! |
|
News Article: http://www.syracuse.com/n... 22 year old New Jersey man falls in a vat of boiling chocolate and dies.
Would this be a good way to go? Being killed by your favorite sweet?
I think it's just a shame that he was so young!

2. cynthiann (3018) | 5 months ago | I think that it was horrible for him to be boiled alive in chocolate. I do not believe that death was instantaneous and that he must have lived horrible the last few minutes of his life in such pain. No I do not want to go this way at all. I would like to have a quick and preferably painless heart attack in my sleep. I have already told my children not to keep me alive on any machine. In fact I put it in my will.

katsmeow1213 (4857) | 5 months ago | I agree, my heart goes out to his family and friends, how terrible.
Mtdewgrl- I did not read the comments. I suppose the headline alone is slightly humorous until it dawns on you that a real person lost their life!

4. mtdewgurl74 (10309) | 5 months ago | 22 is to young to die,but to die in such a way is horrible. No, I don't find it a good way to go..being boiled to death and even though it was chocolate..it was to darn hot to be able to enjoy it. I do hope they take better and more precautions at the company to prevent further accidents such as this.

katsmeow1213 (4857) | 5 months ago | I'm sure it was pure torture, I'd rather go peacefully. Hopefully the factory will do something to prevent this from happening again. The owners of the company are local to me.

mtdewgurl74 (10309) | 5 months ago | I have read that the he was actually 29 but hey that is still to young to die, and also that it happened in 2003 also. SO lets just hope they try to make it safer. Maybe use harnesses so they can't fall in..It was chocolate meant to go to the Hershey factory..

5. 4ofmyown (674) | 5 months ago | I literally just read this before I started to check my mail...that is very awful. I love Cheetos but I wouldn't want to die being suffocated by them. I agree, it is a shame that he was so young.

katsmeow1213 (4857) | 5 months ago | It would be just as much of a shame no matter the age, it just seems more tragic the younger the person is.

7. sophie_dfuss (2072) | 5 months ago | Thats a sweet death by chocolate. I feel sorry for the young man. I love chocolates and I almost die with sickness on eating of it when I was younger. I still eat chocolates but I don't have any allergies on it anymore.

8. ravinskye (6062) | 5 months ago | Aw that is sad. That is a pretty strange way to go. Did he drown, or was it the fact that it was boiling that killed him? I feel bad for his family. That is way to young. My husband's cousin was killed at work a year ago. He was only 23. He left behind a 22 year old wife and a 3 year old daughter. His wife is taking it very hard.

9. ersmommy1 (10327) | 5 months ago | Wow. Reminds me of that scene from Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, where the kid falls into the river of chocolate. Poor guy. That's really sad. I think I would rather just be really old and go in my sleep.
