Landline vs. Cell phone to make calls

I try to make myself use land line as much as i can, but for some reason my mum doesn't like it, she keeps on calling my cell phone even if she knows i'm home... land line is safer because it doesn't produce such insane amounts of electro magnetic interference line cell phone does

When I'm home, I only use the landline. I generally turn the cell phone off as soon as I get home. I just generally don't like talking on the cell phone anyways. Sometimes I just turn the cell phone off because I get sick of all the phone calls I'll get during the day when I'm away from home.

I like to use mobile phone to make calls because i can walk inside my house as i speak.But it is not possible with landphone.

I like to call with my cell phone because all my friends have cell phone and when they call me,they call on my cell phone number rather than on my land line number.I also call on their cell phone number,as it is cheaper from cell phone to cell phone here in our area.few calls are made through land line.
