Toxic family relationships.  | |  I have one with my mother. She disowned me a couple of years ago because my siblings and I would not sell her my fathers car (which he treasured til the day he died) after he passed away from pancreatic cancer. My father and mother had been divorced for 23 years when he died and never kept in touch. So it's not like she earned the right to my fathers things. It is crazy how petty people can be.

He was never around for me when i was growing up, so when he got sick it was really difficult to do what and child should do for their parents. I helped take care of him for 8 months (until he passed away.) | |
