Tips on how to get tipped  | |  i have been working on a restaurant for a long time now and on that time i learned a few things on how to get tipped.
1- always smile to your customers. ( they prefer nice waiters than agry ones)
2- If you have the time and opportunity triy to have a small chat with them.
3- Try to be quick and good to serve them ( i dont mean like speady gonsalez, just dont make them wait to much). you can do things quicly and still well done.

What you said are good methods to get tipped I would tip you if you acted like that and if i enjoyed the food.
As a client to tip i have to like everything the space the service the person who is making the service the employers the way the people feel in there everything but mainly if i go to a restaurant the really important thing if the food the service and the Prices!!!
