Cashing out on Amazon from Mturk...  | |  I joined Mturk last week, and I really like it so far, but I'm having trouble with the Amazon payment side of things.
I live in the US, so it's not a matter of being eligible for payout... more so, my question is...
How do I get my earnings to become available for transfer to my bank account?
If you're familiar with having money in an Amazon account you'll know what I mean, when it says that your available balance is different from the dispersable balance (which is the balance that you are allowed to make the transfer from).
I've never used my Amazon account to transfer funds for anything else, especially not earnings, because Mturk is the first place I've tried to make money online that pays via Amazon, not PayPal.
Does anyone know how long it will take for my balance to become available to transfer to my bank account? It's making me crazy, still learning the system I guess.
I sent them a help ticket, but haven't heard back yet, so I thought i'd ask here as well... to inform us all.

 dancingmooney (812) | 6 months ago | Yah, that's the weird thing. I've been trying to withdraw my balance for days, and it won't let me. The dispersible balance keeps bouncing around randomly. At first there was nothing in there, so I thought it took a few days to show up in my account, then it said there were $2 and some change in there, then a couple days later it said $6 and some change, then it dropped down to 90cents... and now it says $2.00... all of this time though, it's been below the $10 minimum to be allowed to transfer, even though the other balance number says I have $32 in there. It's so weird.
I haven't heard back from Mturk help or Amazon help yet, but I put my tickets in on Friday, so hopefully I'll hear back on Monday. It's making me crazy.
I was really excited about Mturk when I found it, because it's a simple way to make a little extra money each month (which I could surely use) but I've stopped doing hits, until I figure out this balance thing.
It's totally unfair for them to claim you can transfer your balance to your bank, if all they will truly let you do is spend it on amazon. I thought Amazon was more trustworthy than that, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there's some strange glitch in the system, but I won't know for sure until I finally hear back from either Mturk or Amazon.
Anyone else work for Mturk and live in the US, had something similar happen? | |
