How long does it take you to get used to, then take things for granted?

Once I buy myself something really expensive I just get used to having it, then wonder how I lived without it. After that, I become snobbish and wonder why other people don't have it. I never even noticed this until today. Does this happen to anyone else?

I have never been snobbish in my life over anything i have. I really don't think that's a good trait to have.
