Weather channel hit or miss predictions?

As far as I know, weather forecast is based on experiences and computer simulations which while the computers nowadays are powerful... but they are not that powerful. There are just so many factors that can affect the weather that the computer is still far from perfect to do all the things we want it to do and so they can only give us some good guesses.

I know what you are saying the other day on the weather they said it was going to be hot and sunny and instead it rained on and off all day.They can not get it right all the time but i do expect them to get it right at least half the time.I think it would be a ideal world if they could get it right as that way i would know what is the best day to do my linnen and my garden.Happy Mylotting.

I think when you're dealing with wind currents and high and low pressure areas, there are just too many variables to be accurate very often. I checked the radar this morning because they said storms would come south of us but from the looks of the radar, I could see where they could easily veer over in my direction. And they did! The day has been a total waste, comforting my shivering dogs who are terrified of thunder. I'm only here now because I put a chair next to my computer chair and the more frightened of the two can sit beside me!
