| A visit to Firestone cost me $300  | | | |  I had two flat tires on my both rear tires. I believe that they were picked the nails from the street. I drove my car to the Firestone and have it to patch up. I waited an hour, the personnel brought me to the shop, and show me how bad my tires were treaded. There bald around and flat on both my rear tires, and one on th front. He suggested me to replace three of them. Moreover, my filter and the brake fluid needed to be handled too. All together cost me around $300. I was sweating, and I also need to get them done today. Total amount is around $311.00. What a big expenses on my car today. I knew that every time I came to Firestone, they always bring up all the problems I have with my car. And I gotta spend a whole lot of money in it. Where would you go to fix your car normally and lower your cost?

| |  My hubby and I alternate between VIP and PepBoys, because they keep everything in good repair. It's going to be costly no matter where we take our vehicles these days, but safety is so important. Luckily you weren't driving down the highway with the bald tires. I think you paid a fair price. My hubby and I ALWAYS dread going to the mechanic, it truly is costly, but worth the investment in safety.

| |  wooow i think the mechanics try to take advantage of us women with adding extra repairs because they think we don't know anything about cars. i let my fiance handle on the repairs for our vehicles.

| |  Oh my dear clorissa, you really should have taken my advice about using the bus more then you wouldn't have to worry about this. If you really want my honest opinion now you have just thrown good money after bad, the car is obviously a clapped out old banger, it is always breaking down and costing you money and everyone you work with gossips about it and upsets you so really listen my dear and take the bus. I can't keep advising you to take the bus, you have to try it.
