What would you choose?

I don't have enough brain cells left to go back into history and invent all these things we have today...lol...Guess I better stay in the time frame I am living in right now...Cause I might not could invent nothing new but at least I know how to use what I got...

I would LOVE to have been born in the Victorian Age!!! I LOVE the way the women dressed, their hair do's, their make up, everything about them intrigues me to no end.. I would take a computer back with me, so I could still mylot...lol...Lori

This is an interesting premise and I've actually thought similar things myself from time to time! I'm not mechanically inclined in any way whatsoever, so me going back in time and then trying to build something would be an absolute disaster. The more I think about this, the more I've come to realise that I wouldn't need to go far back in time at all if money was my motivation. Even coming up with something as basic as "Post-it notes" before the actual person did would make me a milionaire 10 times over!

But for the sake of being a tad more righteous, I wouldn't mind being able to go back in time to centuries before penicillin was discovered. I'd create some mould and then voila! Hundreds of millions of people could've been saved if this were to happen. Well, it wouldn't be that straightforward I know, but I can imagine it at least!

It's either that, or I'd take back a condom and the first person I'd give one to is Hitler's Father.

I wouldn't really want to go back to the past. I like my modern conveniences! If I had to, though, I'd prefer to live during the 1950's or so after they invented clothes washers! Actually, I would really like to live during that time of optimism, determination and when society had some coherence.

What an interesting discussion! When thinking of what I'd bring, I immediately thought of my computer, cell phone and food processor. Then I realised that that would be silly...I don't know if whatever time in history that I ended up at would have electricity to run them. I thought about bringing money, but don't know if it would be considered currency...or if it would be worthless. I guess I'd put on as much jewelry as I could and grab my dog, Tukay. Gold and silver has always had value, and I'm miss my dog if she wasn't with me.

I dont think I cannot invent whatever.
Its because I have only average .I.Q.
Not all people have bright minds and ideas
to have some inventions.
I know only great people can make their story
and inventions provable .
Might be I can only have a copy for it.

I'd go back to the beginning of time and take a camera, then take a photo of what happened and then all the religious people and big bang theoristy people could see exactly what happened and stop arguing about it:-)
I don't think I could invent a camera though.

if it is possible for me to go back the history then i will make every effort to strengthen the relationship that i have lost in my life. and to be funniest i really like to experience the thrill again that time has kept for me.
