Hi.. I am planning to buy a laptop tday evening. I am wondering which one to buy. Please tell me your views about Dell INSPIRON 15 Dual core/2GB/250GB. Is it a good one to buy. I dont know which brand to buy - Dell, compaq, HCL or Acer.. tell me ur views
I would not buy a Dell again. I had one first year of college and it lasted maybe 6 months before I started having problems. I got an extra warranty on it but yet they wouldnt honour it. I tried calling their customer service and was put on hold for 10 hours. I would hang up and call back yet be put on hold. I left went to class and was still on hold when I got back. Dell def not worth the money. Parts were falling off the motherboad within 6 months and they wanted 400$ to fix it. My second computer is a Toshiba - bought it about a year ago and bought an extra warranty. Just recently I started having issues. The plug where you charge the computer fell off inside but got it repaired for free as well as the keys falling off were repaired for free. The wear a tear on the computer but then again I use my computer about 12 hours a day - every day. Good Luck! Its a hard pick.
