 Have you ever used a photo editing program to make your profile pic here in Mylot, friendster, facebook, multiply, myspace or any other website look better?
I know a lot of people do this and even I have done this once with my profile pic in a forum but all I did was make my facial skin look smoother. And I even told them that it was edited.

Thank you very much for your response. I haven't actually tried editing photos on edit websites. I always use my Adobe Photoshop for editing. I hope to learn Image Ready to make animations too. And your avatar looks great. | |

Sometimes I add effects to pictures - but that's usually just to make them more artistic, interesting, or cool-looking. For example, sometimes I change pictures of me & my friends into black & white or sepia - just to change it up and make it look professional. I've also added glow-ing effects to pictures of me and my friends, but that's usually just to lighten it or make it look brighter and more surreal. I've never "photoshoped" myself (I wouldn't even know how to do this..do you know how?) or edited out a zit or something; because that's just silly. I do wear makeup, though, which is probably close to the same thing. I think people who do this.. are kind of silly if you ask me. A zit or a rough patch on your face should NOT be that big of a deal..It's more embarrassing to be caught editing your pictures than it is to have a picture on your facebook of you with a zit. At least that's my opinion!

Well, that's actually the reason why I mentioned to everyone that the picture I'm using was edited so that I won't be misleading them. It's actually a product of a photoshop tutorial and just showing that now, I know how to do it. | |
