News: Ever get Pranked?!

Family in an Orlando Hotel got a call to their room,allegedly from the Desk Clerk,telling them that there was a gas leak in the building,and gave the wife a list of instructions what to do in the situation leading to Her instructing Her husband to basically destroy the place..They didn't figure out they'd been pranked until Staff turned up outside their door investigating the complaints from neighbouring rooms of noise coming from their room!
Have You ever heard of this Pranking going on? Ever heard of similar stories,or know of someone who got caught out like this family?

Never heard or been subject to a smilar prank, thanks goodness. Well when you are in the same situation sometimes you start to panic as happened in this case. Nowadays one has to be very careful before doing something like that. This could have been dangerous and also fatal. What if these two persons panicked and after throwing the mattress out of the window, they jumped as having been told! They could have ended up injured or maybe even dead! sad

I guess the best thing to do when in suspicion is to check again by phoning back the reception or checking with the responsible person to verify. At least they weren't arrested.

obviously they weren't the sort of people who check out their emergency exit route when they check in to a strange place!
