I think most of the fast food restuarants now have healthy options such as salads. There are many things that people will do to make their food options healthier. I guess veggie burgers and things that are also healthier options. I tend to get chicken sanwhiches that are grilled rather than fried.

Fast food are not a healthy way to eat. But if you cannot resist eating fast food products try to ask the cashier who takes your order to lessen the salt they will add for your fries and try to avoid eating burgers with so much mayonnaise and try to eat salads and instead of drinking sodas, try to drink pineapple juice or iced te light.

A few rules:

1) Salads are not always good for you. Make sure you think about how much salad dressing is going on there and the topings. Salads can easily trump a burger.

2) Grilled is almost always the best option if you can't get to a nutrional menu.

3) Get to a nutritional menu! At some places, the burger has less fat and calories than the grilled chicken! It's almost impossible to know what you are eating unless you look it up. Most places are now requried to post nutrition. Pay attention to serving sizes and caveats.

4) Pretty much any side is better than fries.

My favorite fast food meal? Mandarine Chicken Salad from Wendy's. Filling, tasty, and the entire thing is I think around 500 calories. I put less dressing, almonds, and chinese noodles on and its an amazingly healthy dinner that tastes good and fills you up.

Portion control.
You can still eat the unhealthy foods you love, as long as you don't eat them in large portions, and don't eat them too often.

I agree with Portion control because it cuts calories in half so if you are eating a 400 calorie burger and you cut it in half it would only be 200 calories. Losing weight is a formula made of the calories you eat minus the calories you lose whether it is from exercise or just day by day activities. Thus, if you use portion control you ca watch your calorie count.:)
