Sometimes you need the driver, sometimes Windows already has the driver. The only way to know for sure is to give it a try. I've used a wireless mouse on my computer before, I really didn't see anything all that different about them other than the high price

I use a wireless mouse on my laptop and my mini laptop. All I need it pug it into a usb port and it works. I don't use one on my desktop, only my laptops.I didn't need anything bu an extra usb port and my mini has 3 and my regular laptop also has 3 usb ports.My laptops recognized exactly what it was for.

I have a wireless mouse and a kayboard too. All that I had to do was to install the disc and let it program to my computer. I am not sure about the driver thing. Mine worked after inserting the disc and it found new hardware installed.

It depend on which operating System you have and wireless mouse is standard mouse .I mean various wireless mouse comes with extrasetrtings which need driver .if it is standard one then no problem and wireless mouse uses bluetooth for cnnectivity nowaday Xp comes with its driver :)

that depends on many things. first, if the wireless mouse is a plug and play device then you don't need to install the driver anymore. second, if you are using winxp based operating system, sometimes you need to still install drivers for your devices; if yo are using windows vista, most of the drivers for devices are already native to the os so you don't need to install them(mostly). lastly... even if its a plug and play, you need to make sure that it is compatible with your system or else you might get a problem in the future....

When my wireless mouse is wrong,I never use wireless mouse.It needs to change battery ceaselessly and the sigh between mouse and receiver is always week sometimes even stopping.I believe I shall turn back to a wire mouse in the near future
