migraines

Yes migraines can last for a few days. I have had them before. Sometimes I get them every month. I can always tell that if the migraine is not gone within the first day that it will be sticking around for 2 or three days. I think it is more common in women due to our hormones.

I had migraines from the age of 8 to 40 but only ever had ones that lasted 24 hours. I would have to stay in the dark until it was gone and even then I would throw up every hour, even when my stomach was completely empty, rather painful.

I have talked with women that have had migraines last for a couple of days but never any men. As a matter of fact I have never heard of a man having migraines that last for days unless it's brought on by an injury but women tend to get longer lasting ones.

It was the strangest thing when they stopped. I just never had another migraine after my 40th birthday and now I am 56 and still quite happy about it.

yes they do..there was a time i had one that lasted nearly a week even after takhng medicines..i felt my head was going to burst for i had gone for long hours without sleep& then had a bit of so much work load..so the thing was painful but i overcame it..

I knew a person who got migraines all of the time. she could not hardly function when she had them. She would miss work alot because of it. I have never had one before to know how they actually work.

My son suffers from migraines sometimes his lasts for a couple of days and he has to stay home from work. If you looked it up why don't you believe it.? His are so bad that he has to sit in the dark because the light bothers his eyes. He can't even lift his head off the pillow. I feel helpless when he gets them. so yes there are all different types of migraines.
