I think usually You have to get a working visa or some type of visa. Look onto the Australian embassy website for more details on applying for visas and other information. I think there is a PR visa for australia as well. I'm not sure just look onto the Australian embassy site.=)

If you are married to an Australian you could get a spouse visa. If you wish to work there you might be able to get a work visa that would last for 4 years. If you go in the points test you need to be well educated, have a good career history and be fairly young like under 40. There are a couple of newspapers that appeal to those looking to emigrate to Australia. There are immigration agents that work for a fee. You need to go to the Australian Immigration website and look at the information there because the visa requirements for entry and permanent residence will depend not only on your education, work history and criminal record, but what your nationality is as well.
