I cannot put a good book down!

Ok, I admit it I am a sucker for the Harry Potter novels and once I start reading them I just can't put them down, I have read them over and over again and never get tired of reading them, I am re-reading book 6 again before I go and see the film in a few weeks just to refresh my memory, I found The Half Blood Prince tough going and I want to be able to enjoy the film. I used to work in a call centre and I used to do crosswords whilst I waited for calls to come through.

Yes, I have one particular autor that has this effect on me! I will look up and realize that a couple hours have passed or that it is like 2:30 in the morning! I just have to read it through though!

To be honest, I'm not really fond of reading books. I prefer reading magazines about music, jokes, horror, etc. I opened this discussion out of curiosity.

"I cannot put a good book down!" - I don't know if you really mean it or just an expression. But please share the title (and the author) of that book. I'll try to check it out to see how good it is.

Totally! I have been known to happily stay up all night if the book is good. Just one more chapter.....
What book were you reading at work?

All of the Harry Potter books were like this for me. I waited in line for the final book and rushed home to read it before it was spoiled. I wouldn't eat or sleep because I waited to finish it so badly. I amreally glad to see that they have made movies to give you a picture for all the characters.

Oh, that ways happens when I decide to read a good book. I think that may be the reason why I'm sort of an insomniac. I've gotten so used to sleeping and staying up late especially when I'm reading a good book that the abnormal sleeping pattern stuck with me! Case in point was when I bought Stephenie Meyer's first adult novel, The Host. The story gripped me so much that I read it straight through. I only realized how late it was when I heard the rooster cackling.

Are you kidding? i think everyone feels that way! haha. especially if your in the middle of a very interesting chapter. curse all callers< that's probably my reaction if i were you. lol!

It isn't uncommon for me to finish a good book in a night or too. I don't mind the lack of sleep because get so caught up in the story line it's hard to put it down. I like to read without interruptions so night time - after all the kids are in bed is best.
