My Big Fat Fortieth High School Reunion!  | |  I am going to a reunion dinner on October third, so I will be spending two weeks in San Jose. I'll spend a week with my longtime best friend there, and a week with my sister. Some dear old friends will be there -- and then there will be the jocks and the cheerleaders. I hear that the passage of time has somewhat equalized us in various ways. Then, too, some have been lost -- some as long ago as the Vietnam War.
How many myLotians have been to their high school reunions? Tell me all about it. I have never been to one, but when my old friend told me which of my old buddies would be there, I decided this is the one. And I need an excuse to get away for a bit too. I haven't been anywhere in ages.
