even if it was a joke it is sick
who would sell a baby?
what on earth were they thinking?
how did they possibly think they could get away with that?

That is very messed up.
It is sad that people would go back to such cruel times.
Its like saying there selling a slave

I'm glad they got caught. That is horrible whether it was meant to be a joke or not. I do not know what is wrong with people these days. I guarantee they were trying to sell it.

That was a terrible joke and it must have shocked many ebay members. Everyone likes a bargain but nobody would like to see a baby for sale on ebay. If a member bids and gets over a reserve set he or she wins and gets the item. It is illegal to sell children though. I am glad that ebaby notified the police. I feel sorry for the baby boy. Adoption involves much paperwork.

well i have to say that this doesnt suprise me. ebay lets almost anything be sold on their website it seems. i guess the parents were quite desperate for money maybe? i know it doesnt excuse their actions though.

If it was intended to be a joke it was in poor taste. I could almost go for their story of it being a joke except for the mention of the baby being good for infertile couples or those wanting a child. There is nothing funny about that, and the fact that they used such sensitive statements makes methnk they were serious. How did they think they would get away with something like that without it being reported? That was a very silly mistake to make and I ma sure they will think alot more before attemtping something like that again.

Its freaking bad news about the people.I dont understand why they do such as thing with the wonderful creation.And i am shocked bothe parents were involved in such activity.But i wonder how would they ship a baby when somebody won it.By giving anethesia.Its cruel...

To put it out there so blatantly is horrible, even if it was a joke, this is dealing with a human being. That is sad. Just brings me to think about how many people around the world still today are still bought and sold for Money. To actually put it out there online like that on a well known site like Ebay sure shows the guts some people have. If they didn't want the child they could of let someone adopt him, so many out there that want children and haven't been able to.
