We had good manners taught us at an early age and how to behave properly,it meant a lot to my parents for us to be polite.I am the same with my own children they all say please and thankyou, open doors, give up their seats on the bus,ect and now they are teaching their own children the same things it is wonderful, every now and then they get a poor response.people look at them as though they are mad,but I always say good manners cost nothing and are a very valuable asset in life.On the whole people seem very pleased that someone has taken the time to notice their needs and it makes them feel better and always thank us for our efforts. The little ones are always well thought of and people seems to be genuinely taken with them.It is a skill that is slowly dying and we are determined with the help of our friends to spread the word manners are acceptable in this day and age.

Yeah it is a BIG shame how it is slowly dying. People here still give up there sits for those who need them and those people are around my age. So there still is some nice and polite teenagers out there. Yet, I still have noticed the immature and heartless teenagers who don't give a damn about anyone else but themselves. I can't remember being taught manners when I was little but I must have because I think that I say thank you and please WAY TOO much! But that is just how I am. Thank you very much for your answer.:D
