Her 6th birthday was yesterday

but the party was Saturday. The fun actually lasted 2 days. I have to say I am worn out. But happy for my daughter. We had balloon popping contests, where the kids see how many balloons they can sit on and pop. One of the kids was a bit too small, so for the second round I sat on her balloons. LOL It was a blast. Movies, cake, water guns! Then came round 2 with more family and we went to her favorite restaurant. The 19th being her actual birthday, her Aunt Jenny always does it up with cupcakes and such. Ever have more fun and less work than you thought you were going to?

My sister celebrated her birthday yesterday. It was so much funny and we enjoyed a lot.Many more happy returns of the day for those children.

I think it is great all your work GOT to last 2 days!!!! I have done the holidays for so long... put tons and tons of work into it days prior ... and after.. and all for what...2-3 hours? The last few christmas's I have had at my house... the work for a lot of people was days in advanced..granted I enjoyed doing it...but then all that work and expense..everyone arrived at 1 and was walking out the door at 4.... I can remember saying to myself... "all that for 3 confounded hours... and now I get to do all the cleanup!". I toned down alot the last 2 years to literally one meat, one vege, one potatoe and one dessert. That is down from 1-2 meats, 2-3 veges and 2-3 potatoe/sides and bread and 2 salads and half a dozen desserts!!!

I think it is great you got 2 days of fun out of it all. We spend so much time for so little results...count yourself lucky!!!!
