What do you think about man with long hair and woman with short hair?

I think that the age we live in is very different that it was 100 years ago. I have dated men with longer hair than me...and there have been times when my hair is cut very short. I have friends that (when I'm not pregnant) go out and we have drinks together. I don't think there is anything wrong with a woman asking a man out on a date anymore. I am more traditional, and prefer to have a man ask me out, but if he doesn't get the hint, I wouldn't be opposed to asking him out. I just think that socially we have evolved, and that isn't a bad thing.

The longer you live, the more you realise that there are no rules - except imposed rules (see how women are forced to dress in certain parts of the world).

As a young man I let my hair grow, and cut it once a year. This was the way of my generation. A few years ago (a few years before I met my very traditionalist wife), I dated a lady who shaved her hair almost to the skull. Looked awful, but she was an interesting person, which also counts for a lot.

Men who stay home with their families, women who want to party all night - why not, there are no stereotypes that need to be in place .... as long as children are properly looked after, and set good examples.

I don't have a problem with any of those things. If they are happy with their lifestyle and aren't hurting anybody with it, so what?

But of course we aren't the same. I have boobies!!!

I don't think anything weird about a man caring about children, or women drinking beers, or a woman who asked the man, I think my mum asked my dad. I think it's normal to see a woman driving a lorry and most hairdressers I see are male.

There are no musts in what you should do just because you are a man or woman. It is most often narrow minded people who think these things are strange, to me anything is normal.

Any person, whether they be a man or woman or hermaphrodite, can choose to be as they like. They can choose to accept current social norms, group mentality, individuality or whatever. I would just like to see people be themselves with a good and loving heart.

I don't believe in gender roles, so I don't think one gender should be restricted to a certain role, dress, hair style, set of rules. Stereotypes like this do not exist to my husband and I.

I think it depends on the person and also where they live in this world. Some places it not as acceptable as other places.

I should say,I am a traditional guy, I just do as common people do and never do things that people think strange,but I do not exclude strange friends in my life.Once, my roommate cut all her hairs off and take along a turban,I think it is cool.Actually,what I want to express is people have the right to pursue their dream no matter how they look different.So a man with long hair and a woman with short hair can be OK.
