Happy Birthday Noel Summer, She's finally here

After two days of harsh labor and I do mean harsh wednesday July 22 sometime late in the afternoon the doctor finally made the decision to do an emerecency C-section because of the baby's heart rate. My precious Noel Summer was born at 4:19 pm. She weighed 5lbs and 7 oz and is 19 and half inches long. I havent not got to hold her yet which really really sucks big time because she immediately had to be put on oxygen and this morning she had to have a chest tube put in her to remove some air that was in her lungs she is doing really good now and hopefully that tube can come out tomorrow and I will finally get to hold her. I've gotten to go down the nursey to see her but it just doesnt take the place of being able to hold her that's the really hard part of it all.

Congratulations on the birth of Noel Summer. You must have had quite a scary time at the birth having to have had an emergency c section. I hope that she is doing well now that she has had some support from the special care baby unit. By now it would be lovely to hear if you have had the chance to hold her yet. She sounds adorable and I know she will make you and your family really happy. My baby girl, Amber, was a month old yesterday.
